Postpartum Bridge Art Fair

Well ... I think nobody did too well at any of the art fairs, but I also brought giant canvases not desperate to sell, but to sort of get my color scheme out there and burnt onto the retina of the collective conscience ... still ahve to see if that worked - next up is the gwob launching later on in March 2009.

I'll be at the Depression Art Fair March 5-8, 2009

Join me at Bridge Art Fair at The Waterfront: 222 12th Ave, NYC ... on the edge of the Chelsea moloch  ... my booth is #36 and I'll be trying to cram my giant canvases into a teeny tiny booth.

Freedom Riders & Bus Boycotters Opening

This was the opening of Freedom Riders & Bus Boycotters in February 2010 at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC (much thanks to Jeremy Travis, Susan Herman, Lisa Farrington & Nyeema Morgan). 35 portraits from mug shots are on display of two poignant moments in civil rights: one day in 1956 and one in 1961.

Tons and tons of thanks to two Freedom Riders: Judge George Bundy Smith of NY and Joseph Charles Jones Esquire of NC, who are actually portrayed in the show and graced the show with their presence. They also spoke about their motivation, trials and tribulations at the time and repercussions. It was emotional and cathartic. The work will be on display through March 25th, 2010, when we will be celebrating the closing with a discussion panel concerning the subject, great panelists will attend along with both Judge George Bundy Smith and Jospeh Charles Jones Esquire.

Right this moment occurs design jewellery choice that is certainly certainly component which essential shops in particular good shops tend to be always careworn to obtain accurate. soobestSleek and stylish shops don’t need to be unenthusiastic due to the fact this specific isn’t skyrocket science so you tend to be better in to the potential customers in your spot compared to any mainly retailer.
